Background

BC Escooter is an electric scooter and electric bike repair company with a call-and-pickup based customer process.

The challenge

Being a startup brand, BC Escooter aimed to become the go to choice for local scooter repairs inquiries through building brand trust and legitimacy. Establishing brand authority within a competitive niche was a challenge. Many existing repair companies dominated google search inquiries making client acquisition a challenge.

Phase one

Branding

Our work for BCE started by creating a logo that encapsulates the core service behind BCE.

Our branding work established font, visual style, colours, and visual identity moving forward.

Phase two

Web design and build

D33’s initial task was to create a user-friendly website that would allow customers to book repair services online.

This website was straightforward, focusing primarily on enabling a pickup service where customers could request scooter repairs. 


Using Typeform, a clear sales funnel was created to allow users to easily book a repair appointment.

SEO organic growth

Through a robust blogging system, our team created consistent blog posts for BCE through statistic driven keyword research. High volume and low competition keywords were targeted with one blog post per month regarding various different topics about electric scooter and electric bike repair services.

BCE began to see website organic traffic increase after 3 months. 12 Months in, BCE runs a majority of its business through attracting around 2000 weekly visitors organically without spending anything on Google Ads.

Phase four

E-commerce expansion

As BC Escooter’s business grew, so did their needs. BCE recognized the potential to expand into sales through e-commerce. D33 helped transform the simple service-focused website into a full-fledged e-commerce platform on Shopify.

This allowed BC Escooter to sell scooters and e-bikes directly though their site. The transition to an e-commerce model market a significant milestone, enabling BC Escooter to diversify its revenue streams.
